IN-SIGHT 3.4.4 FOR 1720 SERIES WAFER READERS (FULL CD INSTALL)
Release 3.4.4 provides a critical fix for In-Sight 1720 Series wafer readers currently running 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 firmware. This fix prevents the improper access and erasure of non-volatile flash memory that can occur after an image acquisition, which could render the reader inoperable. All 1720, 1721, and 1721 readers currently running 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 firmware should be upgraded to 3.4.4 to prevent this failure from occuring. 720 Series readers running 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 firmware can also be upgraded to patch release 3.4.1 PR1, which provides only the critical fix described above. Customers who continue to use the Java graphical interface must upgrade using 3.4.1 PR1 because release 3.4.4 does not support Java. EM Release 3.4.4& also p rovides& additional changes and fixes that are not contained& in 3.4.1 PR1, including: the Online/Offline state of the .NET user interface is always synchronized with the actual Online/Offline state of the reader. After a no-read occurs, the image& from the highest scoring Config& is automatically displayed and/or saved. the Light Power control in the graphical interface is now a horizontal scroll bar. The SetConfigEnable Native Mode command enables and disables multiple Configs simultaneously. Error handling has been improved when logging on to a reader running older 3.2.x firmware from the 3.4.4 user interface, READ and TUNE commands work correctly f Configs 10 - 24.
