IN-SIGHT 3.4.4 FOR 1720 SERIES WAFER READERS (FOR .NET INSTALLATIONS)
Download this file if youare using the .NET graphical interface and have already installed the Microsoft .NET Framework on your PC. Release 3.4.4 provides a critical fix for In-Sight 1720 Series wafer readers currently running 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 firmware. This fix prevents the improper access and erasure of non-volatile flash memory that can occur after an image acquisition, which could render the reader inoperable. All 1720, 1721, and 1721 readers currentlyrunning 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 firmware shouldbe upgraded to 3.4.4 toprevent this failure from occuring. P dir=ltr NOTE :1720 Series readers running 3.4.0 or 3.4.1 firmware canalso beupgraded to patch release 3.4.1 PR1, which provides only the critical fix described above. Customers whocontinue to usethe Java graphical interface must upgrade using 3.4.1 PR1 because release 3.4.4 does not support Java. Release 3.4.4also p rovidesadditional changes and fixes that are not containedin 3.4.1 PR1, including: TheOnline/Offline state of the .NET user interface is always synchronized with the actual Online/Offline state of the reader. After a no-read occurs, the imagefrom the highest scoring Configis automatically displayed and/or saved. TheLight Power control in the graphical interface is now a horizontal scroll bar. The SetConfigEnable Native Mode command enables and disables multiple Configs simultaneously. Error handling has been improved when logging on to a reader running older 3.2.x firmware from the 3.4.4 user interface, READ and TUNE commands work correctly forConfigs 10 - 24. L
