视觉论坛的各种资源，除了视觉相关的模块有使用外，大部分的都不会使用，所以仅提供资源不能提供技术支持。资源的下载地址一般会同时提供NI官方地址和百度网盘的下载地址。某些工具包NI的地址失效或没有NI的下载地址，那视觉论坛也没有办法，只能尝试使用百度网盘地址下载；如果百度网盘的下载地址失效过期，可联系论坛客服更新。现在NI的下载服务器对我国IP地址不是很友好，有些时候速度很慢或大的资源下载很容易出错，这样会造成安装过程各种类型报错而无法安装。建议在下载完成后，对下载资源做校验和验证（NI一般会提供MD5或SHA256等），与官方或视觉论坛提供的校验和对比，一致就可以安装，如果不一致，则需要重新下载。视觉论坛早期下载的资源，那时候NI没有这么多限制，基本上都是正常下载的资源；后期下载的资源，都与NI的正确校验和对比过，保证是正确的资源才上传到百度网盘，所以百度网盘的资源基本上是正确的。校验和工具下载地址：

System Requirements

Installation Instructions

• Insert the Vision Builder AI CD into your CD-ROM drive. If the CD does not run automatically, open Windows Explorer, right-click the CD drive icon, and select Play.

• Select Install Vision Builder for Automated Inspection on the National Instruments Vision Builder for Automated Inspection screen.

• Vision Builder AI prompts you to enter your user information. Select one of the following options:
  
  

  If you choose to enter a serial number, enter the serial number found on your Certificate of Ownership card. Vision Builder AI automatically uses this serial number when you run the NI Activation Wizard.

• Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Vision Builder AI installation.

• If you want to use Vision Builder AI with a National Instruments image acquisition device, such as a frame grabber or IEEE 1394 or GigE interface card, install the NI Vision Acquisition Software CD included with Vision Builder AI.
  
  

Activation Instructions

• Vision Builder AI Full-Featured (778649-01)—Allows full access to all Vision Builder AI features, which can be used to configure, benchmark, and deploy inspections. This license allows inspections to run on all supported targets. This license does not include the Vision Builder AI Development Toolkit.

• Vision Builder AI Full-Featured for NI 17xx Smart Cameras—Allows full access to all Vision Builder AI features, which can be used to configure, benchmark, and deploy inspections. This license only allows inspections to be created for, and run on, the NI 17xx smart camera. This license is included with all NI 17xx hardware kits.

• Vision Builder AI Run-Time (779799-03)—Allows you to deploy existing inspections to a host machine and modify the control values for steps in an inspection. This license does not allow you to add steps to or remove steps from an inspection.

• Vision Builder AI Development Toolkit (779343-03)—Licenses only the Vision Builder AI Development Toolkit, which allows you to create custom steps for use in any Vision Builder AI application.

• Added two new execution targets to the Welcome screen, Compact Vision System Emulator and Smart Camera Emulator. The emulator options allows inspections created for remote targets to run even when the hardware is not present.

• The Select Remote Target dialog box now has a context, right-click, menu available for remote targets found and shown in this dialog. This menu provides easy access to familiar functions like configuration and properties as well as the ability to reboot the target and a new feature to create a software image of the target that can be deployed in other systems.

• Remote Target Configuration Wizard - Installation of software on a remote target consists of installing a complete software image resulting in a more intuitive and faster installation process. Information about the image installed is available in the remote target configuration wizard as well as in the remote target properties dialog. It is also possible to format the target drive before installation of a new image.

• The Variable Manager now includes the ability to create inspection variables and system variables. System variables can be published on the network. A new Network Variables tab allows subscribing to network variables published on other systems through Vision Builder AI or LabVIEW.

• A new Inspection Interface Configuration menu item allows specifying the Inspection Interface for the current inspection. The Inspection Interface can use one of the provided templates or an existing LabVIEW VI. A Custom Inspection Interface running on an NI CVS-1450 Series compact vision system or NI 17xx smart camera can be viewed and controlled remotely using a web browser.

• The Benchmark Inspection feature now reports timing information for the complete inspection. The number of times the inspection runs for the purpose of benchmarking is configurable.

• It is now possible to specify when the Setup and Cleanup states are run. These states can be run every time the inspection is loaded and unloaded (default behavior in Vision Builder AI 3.0) or every time the inspection starts and stops. This option is available by selecting Tools»Options when running on a host or selecting under Target»Options when connected to an NI CVS-1450 Series compact vision system or NI 17xx smart camera.

• The Target»Options menu includes a new option to run a web server on the remote target. The web server publishes the customized Inspection Interface if configured.

• The Target»Options menu for the NI 17xx smart camera includes the ability to synchronize the smart camera with an SNTP time server.

• The Target»Options menu for the NI 17xx smart camera allows specifying the network configuration of the secondary Ethernet port in the smart camera.

• Selecting Target»Create Target Image creates a complete image of all software and data on a remote target. This allows you to backup the configuration of a remote target in order to restore or duplicate the system.

• In the State Diagram editor, the combination of <shift>+click allows you to select multiple states. Right-clicking one of multiple states selected displays a context menu for aligning or distributing states.

• You can now disable inspection steps by right-clicking the step and selecting Disable/Enable Step.

• There are new steps to acquire images from an NI 17xx smart camera, read and write to the smart camera I/O lines, and configure the output lines for pulse generation.

• A new Advanced Straight Edge step is available on the Locate Features tab. This step allows the detection of one or multiple straight edges in low contrast, noisy images with high accuracy and repeatability.

• The new Read QR Code step allows locating and decoding QR and micro-QR codes.

• A new Update Inspection UI step located in the Use Additional Tools tab, allows updating the indicators in the Inspection Interface. Indicators can be image, string, numeric (including charts), and Boolean indicators.

• The Acquire Image and Acquire Image (IEEE 1394) steps now give the option to immediately return if a new image has already been acquired since the last call to the step or wait for another image to be acquired after the step was called.

• The Simulate Acquisition step used to cache the images in the folder that it read before the inspection ran. The default mode is now to load images individually only caching the file names, with the option to revert to the previous default of caching all the images.

• The Vision Assistant step can now process a region of interest in the image.

• The Calibrate Image step has a new option to correct the original image by applying a spatial calibration.

• The Read 1D Barcode step now reads Pharmacode and RSS Limited codes.

• The Serial I/O step provides the option to remove the termination character from strings received.

• The Set Variable step makes it possible to read or write inspection, system, and network variables.

• The Data Logging step allows logging data to the local hard drive, a remote FTP server, or to send data to a TCP device.

• The Data Logging step provides the option to return data as a tab delimited text file or a comma-separated value (CSV) file.

• The Data Logging step allows choosing a substitution character to use in place of missing measurements.

• The Image Logging step offers the possibility to log images to an FTP server.

• Steps using previous measurements as well as transition conditions can now use inspection, system, or network variables.

• The Inspection In Progress system signal is ON while the inspection is running. The behavior of inspections configured with Vision Builder 3.0 using Inspection in Progress system signal remains unchanged.

• The folder of images used by the Simulate Acquisition step can now be C:User VIs on an NI CVS-1450 Series compact vision system or NI 17xx smart camera. This location is used if the path specified in the Run LabVIEW VI step cannot be found on the remote target.

• New lessons have been added to the Vision Builder AI tutorial about image acquisition with an NI CVS-1450 device or the NI 17xx smart Camera as well as usage of the Inspection Selection feature.

Bug Fixes

• 4DDCS5OK—The paste feature allowed pasting steps invalid for the selected state.

• 4DQ9F400—Double-clicking an inspection file while Vision Builder was open had no effect.

• 4EGCKNZN—An inspection state could update the image display even if the Display Result Image for this State control was disabled.

• 4A4DE3ZN—Vision Builder AI Configuration mode consumes a large amount of CPU resources when opening large inspections.

• 4E18591G—Opening a Vision Builder inspection previously saved with Vision Builder AI 1.x or 2.x (*NIVBAITargetMode setting is not available. Therefore, the connection to a target always allows full control.

• When using the Vision Builder AI ActiveX component, if the connection to a local target fails the first time you try to connect to the local target, restart the computer and retry the connection.
  
  

Windows XP Service Pack 2

• When you choose Select Network Target in Vision Builder AI while the Windows XP Service Pack 2 Internet Connection Firewall is enabled, a dialog box may open, giving you the option to allow Vision Builder AI to receive information over a network. National Instruments recommends that you select Unblock this program so that Vision Builder AI can configure your remote NI CVS-1450 Series device. You must be logged in with administrator privileges to configure this networking option.
