This section describes how to set segmentation parameters for an OCR application. The tab Segmentation allows you to adjust several kinds of parameters for optical character recognition. The success of these parameter adaptions can be viewed immediately in the image after the Setup has been completed, if at least one image has been loaded and an ROI has been specified. Adjusting parameter settings is also recommended when using the Quick Setup to achieve the highest possible character recognition quality.
